Re: Heiji

Gosh Sasuke, where to begin. For starters, Sasuke seemed like a quiet, polite guy who was a couple years younger than Heiji and had things reasonably well together. But then knives and weird brother memories and hiding injuries and weirdly high pain tolerance and Simon's betrayal.

Basically, Heiji thinks that Sasuke is still smarting from Simon secretly being a mole, because Sasuke seems to blame himself disproportionately even for things that aren't actually his fault. Even if Sasuke insists it's fine, everything's fiiiine.

He also assumes that Sasuke's parents are... at best, absentee parents. His relationship with his brother is weird and fraught with tension apparently, which any reasonably attentive parental figure should have caught before they got to the weird lying about birthdays stage. Maybe they're not on the scene because they're busy, or there was some kind of family tragedy, or maybe they just don't care, but some of those explanations make more sense than others because you don't just wander through life developing knife throwing skills and the ability to move silently hmm yes, that's very suspicious. Has Sasuke murdered someone in the past? Maybe, though his general aversion to hurting people would lean towards 'no'.

He sort of worries about Sasuke, because Heiji is of the general opinion that bottling up emotions isn't really healthy and that is basically what Sasuke seems to be doing. But he seems like a fairly nice kid and certainly handy to have around when shit is going down...

Edit: OH YEAH and I forgot to mention that Heiji thinks Sasuke is an intelligent person and admires the way he seems loathe to inflict deadly harm, even when the result for that sadly for the last round was them getting stabbed. gj buddy, gj
