TEST DRIVE

Want to test out the setting? Not sure if your character is a good fit? Need to start gathering some samples? You know how it goes:

→ Comment with the character's name and series in the subject.
→ Pick an option or make your own.
    → Tag around.
    → Enjoy yourself!!

Check out these helpful links to get a sense of the game:

G A M E  L I N K S

R E S O U R C E S
You're awake. You're lying on a cold floor, and your head is pounding. It feels like you've been hit with a sledgehammer. You can barely move, but you push yourself up anyway, and look around. You're in an unfamiliar warehouse, and on your left wrist is a bracelet. It feels heavy, and no matter how hard you tug at it, it refuses to come off. You can't remember how you arrived here, nor do you recognize anyone else. Try not to panic too much.

( For the purposes of the Test Drive, characters will be arriving in the warehouse instead of the Elevator/AB Room)

An Ambidex Game has just concluded. You have entered in your vote and there's no turning back. Did you trust your opponent and vote ally? Or did you double-cross them and vote betray? What did your opponent do? Did they vote betray while you voted ally, or did they vote ally while you voted betray? Why did you choose one or the other? Just what did you do?

Rules are meant to be broken. You've just reached a certain amount of BP, and you can finally have access to food (low or high quality) or to the dorms. It's great, things are getting a bit more bearable now, but seeing the others without the same "luxuries" as you, you feel like you should do something. It's against the rules to bring food or blankets out of their respective rooms, but Zero can't have eyes everywhere... can he?

Exploration and Escape. All the windows are bolted shut, and all the doors are locked. The exit is through the number 9 door, but no one can reach it until they have 63 BP. It'll take too long to wait for help to arrive, and to accumulate that many points. There must be some way out. Maybe if you search enough, you can find a tool to help you break down a door.

Wild Card. Want to try something else? Go for it! Have your own AB Game round, have characters argue against each other, try to keep the mood cheery, whatever! Make full use of the environment and mechanics, just remember to keep it within the game's structure.

after vivarium

after vivarium!

It may have been weeks, months, or even years, but finally, everyone makes it out of the warehouse just fine. The authorities have broken in and let everyone out, or maybe the characters managed to escape on their own. Either way, Zero and Calhoun vanish without a trace and they still haven't been caught to this day. It's infuriating, but the important part is that they're now free. What exactly entrails after that ending though?

How to Play:
✖ Make a top-level comment, either blank or filled with some info/prose.
✖ Tag others, whether it's shortly after the escape or much later.
✖ Action, text, video, whatever, it's all good.
✖ Have multiple threads?
✖ Done!

Time to re-explore that childhood (or get one for the first time). Rules are as simple as usual!

Post up your character- name and canon.

When replying to someone's post, go and RNG for option one, and see just how conscious you'll be of the trouble you're in.

You can hit it up further for options 1-11 of wat do, and then, let it rip!

Cue crack, hilarity, fluff, angst- a full spectrum of genres.

????

PROFIT!

Zero Unmasked

ZERO UNMASKED

Through trial and tribulation, you have survived long enough to see Zero unmasked. The only problem is... Zero was one of you all along.

OPTIONS:

1. Zero. You were the mastermind who built this place from ground up, carefully selecting your victims... And even going so far as to let one die. Now that you've been found out, how do you plan to explain yourself, if at all?

2. Zero, the Player. You're still the mastermind, but for reasons known only to your past self (and possibly that handy recording everyone just saw), you took away your own memories and joined the game as a regular player yourself. Enjoy dealing with the backlash for a plot you can't even recall in full.

3. Accomplice. You aren't Zero yourself, but you were in on the plan, helping them every step of the way. You are just as guilty as the mastermind - how are you going to deal with the blood that is on your hands, too?

4. Mole. You didn't really know the full story, but whether through bribery or blackmail, you've been acting as Zero's eyes on the ground floor, occasionally giving the right push as directed. Hopefully you aren't too hated for being an utter traitor.

5. Wildcard. Through some circumstances, you had a hand in trapping the people here, and now they're looking to you to know why. Feel free to come up with as simple or elaborate a scheme as you'd like.

The Date Meme (stolen from bakerstreet because whatever whatever)
THE DATE MEME
Here's how it works!

1. Comment to this post with your character. List the character's name, series, and any preferences you might have in the subject.
2. Using the RNG, pick from one of each of the two categories below. (Or if you'd rather pick them yourself, feel free to do that instead!)
3. The two of you are now on a date! The first list is where you took your date. The second list is your current relationship.
4. Have fun!
