You're awake. You're lying on a cold floor, and your head is pounding. It feels like you've been hit with a sledgehammer. You can barely move, but you push yourself up anyway, and look around. You're in an unfamiliar warehouse, and on your left wrist is a bracelet. It feels heavy, and no matter how hard you tug at it, it refuses to come off. You can't remember how you arrived here, nor do you recognize anyone else. Try not to panic too much.
( For the purposes of the Test Drive, characters will be arriving in the warehouse instead of the Elevator/AB Room)
An Ambidex Game has just concluded. You have entered in your vote and there's no turning back. Did you trust your opponent and vote ally? Or did you double-cross them and vote betray? What did your opponent do? Did they vote betray while you voted ally, or did they vote ally while you voted betray? Why did you choose one or the other? Just what did you do?
Rules are meant to be broken. You've just reached a certain amount of BP, and you can finally have access to food (low or high quality) or to the dorms. It's great, things are getting a bit more bearable now, but seeing the others without the same "luxuries" as you, you feel like you should do something. It's against the rules to bring food or blankets out of their respective rooms, but Zero can't have eyes everywhere... can he?
Exploration and Escape. All the windows are bolted shut, and all the doors are locked. The exit is through the number 9 door, but no one can reach it until they have 63 BP. It'll take too long to wait for help to arrive, and to accumulate that many points. There must be some way out. Maybe if you search enough, you can find a tool to help you break down a door.
Wild Card. Want to try something else? Go for it! Have your own AB Game round, have characters argue against each other, try to keep the mood cheery, whatever! Make full use of the environment and mechanics, just remember to keep it within the game's structure.

That was the question of the year, Tenma. "I don't know, I honestly wonder if this really is an experiment and not just some cruel game to them." He admitted, crossing his arms uncomfortably. "I'd like to believe a scientist wouldn't use pointless cruelty like this, regardless of the experiment. I guess that's naive."
no subject
"Considering the way we were brought here, I suspect at least one of them must be a skilled anesthesiologist. But as a doctor -- no, someone who's lent their skills to something like this can no longer be considered a doctor. I don't think they could be considered a scientist either."
Tenma shook his head. "But how are you doing, young Mr. Layton? Is your cut still bothering you?"
no subject
"Not only that but quite the engineer." He glanced down at his bracelet. "Assuming it's not a group of experts. It's hard to believe there could be too many people involved who continuously allow this to happen, especially after-" Akiko. He frowned and moved on. "After everything."
And he blinked. "Oh, I'm quite alright. It's really not so bad, as long as you're careful, what with this illness around and all."
no subject
Hahahaha clumsy hopeless middle-aged guy, that was him. How was he ever going to survive murdergame?
He grew quite scolding, however, when Hershel tried to play off his injury. He held out his palm, his demeanor suddenly changed. "That's no good. Give me your hand, and I'll check to see how it's healing up. You can't be cavalier when it comes to injury, you know. We still don't know the vector through which the disease is transmitted."
Honestly, you lot, always trying to pass off your ailments like nothing was wrong! Unacceptable.
no subject
"I'm not surprised, you know so much about first aid and such, I wonder if you're a doctor or have medical training of some sort." Hershel mused before looking a bit sheepish. He was usually the one scolding people about this kind of thing, rude people were rubbing off on him apparently.
"Ah, sorry-" He held out his hand, he probably got cut by something stupid and was using those moldy sheets to cover it, smartest choice. "Though this is just more proof you're probably a doctor, you certainly have that stern doctor knows best look down." He teased a bit, he couldn't help it, okay.

He unwrapped Hershel's hand carefully and gently, turning it over and examining the site of the wound. "There's no sign of infection so far, but it would be best if we could only get hold of some proper anesthetic and supplies. With a wound as long as this, stitches would lessen the scarring..."
He sighed. Look at him, practicing without proper equipment like they were in the dark ages or something. God, sooner or later someone was going to get tetanus. "Does it itch?"
no subject
Hershel regarded the injury too, it didn't seem too bad compared to some of what he saw here, but anything here could end up bad. "At this point scarring is really the least of my worries, I'm just happy to hear it looks clean." He sighed a little- yeah, he felt you there. This was basically survival situation training. "It itches a little, I hope that means it's healing."
And he regarded Tenma closely for a moment. "Mr- ah, Tenma I mean, if um- listen, if you ever need anything for bandaging if someone gets hurt please let me know. I can at least give my vest." He paused. "Sorry, that's a little off topic I suppose, it's just out of everyone you really are the only person who seems to know what they're doing with this sort of thing. If there's anyway I could help I'd like to."
no subject
He took a strip of the cloth he'd ripped from his own suit jacket earlier and started rebinding the wound with expert care. "In any case, yes. The itchiness is part of the healing process. But please bear with it until you're better."
Gosh, Hershel, what a considerate fellow. "Hmm... does that mean I have a volunteer nurse?"
no subject
He nodded, flexing his hand a little and smiling. "Thank you very much, Tenma." What a nice dude. And he nods yet again, he'll nurse so much, he'll be the best nurse okay. Maybe not the cute nurses of Heiji's dreams but!!!
"If you need it, at the very least I can offer an extra set of hands." And he stopped a moment, a little sheepish. "Actually, I was wondering if maybe you could teach me some first aid. I know it's a bit much to ask, but with what happens around here it'd certainly be useful to know."
no subject
Gosh, Hershel, you were such a nice, polite young man! "I think you'd make a wonderful nurse, Mr. Layton. And the more people here who know first aid, the better. That way, even if something happens to me, I won't have to worry about you so much."
